Kim Atkinson - Policy Director
Kim is the Policy Director of the Scottish Sports Association. She took up post in March 2010 following a wide ranging involvement in sport, especially within governing bodies of sport.
Prior to her appointment with the SSA, Kim was Chief Operating Officer of Scottish Squash for over 5 years and worked closely with the SSA during that time. Kim's governing body experience also includes previous employment with Badminton England, along with previous voluntary appointments to the sportscotland Board and as Scotland's National Team Manager for the British University Games.
Kim is very enthusiastic and passionate about sport: playing it, watching it, supporting it and promoting it!
David McColgan - Policy & Communications Officer
David joined the team at the SSA in May 2009 as Policy and Communications Officer.
David joined the organisation from the Sport and Games Legacy Division of the Scottish Government, where he worked as Policy Officer within the Sports Team.
With a keen interest in politics David has previously worked for a Member of Parliament.
He studied for a BA(hons) International Politics at the University Stirling and University of Massachusetts and an MSc International Politics at the University of Glasgow.
David's interests include, politics, reading, and playing Golf and Rugby.
