Chris Robison, SSA Policy Director will be leaving the Association in early February 2010 to take up a post as Lead Manager with sportscotland.

Chris has been with the SSA for 5 ½ years and will be missed.  He has worked and campaigned on a wide range of issues to ensure that the case for sport is heard and in particular the needs of governing bodies are met.  On announcing the change of jobs Chris said:  "Working within the SSA has been a great experience.  It has been a challenging but very rewarding and I hope that my new role will allow me to continue working with many of the sports. I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for the support that I have enjoyed and valued over the past few years."

The SSA Board of Directors are keen to appoint a successor as soon as possible and are determined that the momentum of our recent work is not lost.  The post has been advertised and a link to the advert can be found here
