The Scottish Sports Association brings Scottish sports governing bodies and recreation organisations together in a powerful group which strives to make sure that sports policies work in practice.

We do this by working with government, business, the voluntary sector and other key organisations to shape, strengthen and promote sport in Scotland. 
 

Our 68 strong membership includes well-known governing bodies such as the Scottish Football Association, Scottish Swimming and Scottish Cycling as well as key organisations such as the Commonwealth Games  Scotland and the Fields in Trust.

Together our members represent thousands of sports clubs across Scotland and the many volunteers and regular participants within these clubs.

The Scottish Sports Association offers its members the support of a strong, independent voice which is respected by politicians and policymakers in Scotland and beyond.
