With our partners in the Scottish Sports Alliance, we've put together a campaign leaflet for the May 2012 Council elections. Our 'Three Goals for Sport' are endorsed by all the main party leaders. Read the leaflet here.
The Scottish Sports Association brings Scottish sports governing bodies and recreation organisations together in a powerful group which strives to make sure that sports policies work in practice.
We do this by working with government, business, the voluntary sector and other key organisations to shape, strengthen and promote sport in Scotland.
Our 73 strong membership includes well-known governing bodies such as the Scottish Football Association, Scottish Swimming and Scottish Cycling as well as key organisations like Commonwealth Games Scotland and the Fields in Trust.
Together, our members represent thousands of sports clubs across Scotland and the many volunteers and regular participants within them.
The Scottish Sports Association offers its members the support of a strong, independent voice which is respected by politicians and policymakers in Scotland and beyond.
